Here’s another lecture from a blog I read www.survivingtheworld.net, I love this site its a great concept and since this lecture is beer related I wanted to share it with you. please visit the site it truly is great.

You its funny my boss is always amazed how I can make new friends just about anywhere I go and to tell you the truth I owe that to drinking at bars. Its easy to make new friends at a bar due to the fact that everyone there already has something big in common, the love for Beer.

Russian man survives five storey fall – twice

A Russian man survived after downing three bottles of vodka and leaping from a fifth floor balcony – twice.

Alexei Roskov says he jumped the second time because he couldn’t take his wife’s nagging about the first time.
Wife Yekaterina had watched in horror as her drunken hubsand opened the kitchen window of their Moscow apartment, and hurled himself out.
Astonishingly Mr Roskov, 22, survived and managed to stagger back upstairs with barely a scratch after the 50ft fall.
But while his wife called for an ambulance and began to scold him, he jumped again.
Amazed medics treated Mr Roskov for minor cuts and bruises before releasing him.
Mr Roskov says he is now teetotal after giving up drinking, and added: “Now I can say just one thing – I was very lucky.

“I have no idea why I jumped the first time but when I came back up and I heard my wife screaming angrily at me I thought it was best if I left the room again – out of the window.”

I can’t believe I haven’t posted this video yet. This guy nails his DUI test no matter what this lady cop throws at him. He even gets the alphabet backwards right I can’t even do that sober its amazing. But sadly this cop has one or two tricks of her own watch the video its amazing.

Only Beer Drinkers Would Understand

In Amsterdam, a world wide convention of brewers was held.

The presidents of many of the world’s greatest breweries were on hand, and many of them decided to go out for dinner together on the first evening.

The waiter asked what they would like to drink, and the CEO of Miller said, “The Best Beer in the world, an MGD please!”

The president of Budweiser asked for “The King of Beers, make it a Bud!”.

Adolph Coors requested a “From mountain spring water, the clearest beer, a Coors if you don’t mind.
”

And so it went around the large table, each president asking for the brew from his own company as if it was the best.

Finally, the waiter came to Arthur Guinness.

“And you sir?” he queried.

“I’ll have a Coke!” was Guinness’s reply.

“A Coke??!?” The waiter was shocked.

“Wouldn’t you rather have a Guinness, sir?”

Arthur looked at the waiter, and gestured to his companions.
“Well,” he said, “If they’re not drinking beer, then neither will I!”

Dos Equis “most interesting man in the world”

In 2007, Dos Equis started its “most interesting man in the world” advertising campaign. The television advertisements feature a bearded, Argentinian man in his 50s or 60s (portrayed by actor Jonathan Goldsmith). In the advertisements there is Spanish music plays in the background while various daring clips are played involving “the most interesting man” such as “his beard has experienced more than other mens’ entire bodies” and displays his when he was younger. Other clips include him freeing an angry bear from a painful-looking bear trap; shoots amazing pool before an Indian audience; catches a marlin with a beautiful Cuban woman; wins an arm-wrestling match (“He’s a lover, not a fighter, but he’s also a fighter, so don’t get any ideas”); surfs the killer wave; and bench presses two East Asian young women in a casino setting, each woman being seated in a chair.

At the end of the advertisement, the interesting man says, “I don’t always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.” Each commercial ends with a signature sign-off: “Stay thirsty, my friends.”

I’ve been following theses ads for some time now and love all of them cheers to you Dos Equis for such an amazing marketing campaign.

St. Patrick’s Day 2009 part 2

So yesterday was St. Patrick’s day a wonderful day and the best excuse to get drunk out of your mind. Like I said in my earlier post some coworkers and I went to Joxer Daly’s Pub in Culver City. The place was awesome they converted their parking lot into an extension of the pub. They had a huge tent covering the parking lot and put an out doors bar and some tables it was great tons of people showed up and some great bands performed, I included a video of one of the bands that performed. When getting there we started the night with a round of Irish Car Bombs and a few pints of Guinness. The food looked really good but unfortuanately I did not get to tray some but it looked so good that I’m definitely going to go back for dinner sometime. I have to say that the Leprechaun that was walking around taking pictures with people was really cool and a great touch to the pub’s St. Patrick’s celebration. I have tons of fun hanging out with coworkers and drinking I’ve included some pictures along with this post so check them out.

Did every one’s celebration turn out as planned? I hope everyone had a fun time. I know that the cops are real jerks on days like that and they see it as a day when they can catch a lot of drunk drivers I hope your night did not end by getting a DUI or any run in with the cops for that matter.
