It was a perfect combination of strategic card game and drinking/smoking game. All you'd have to do was beat the person in the chain above you then pick your hand to knock off the President and take power. If you'd climbed from Asshole to President then there were always scores to settle and it would get ugly. We'd play this for hours on end until we were incoherent.
