The “Dirty Hoe” is:
1/2 pint of Lambic combined with 1/2 pint Hoegaarden.

It’s a Belgian delight; extremely sweet.

oh, by the way…
Guinness is Irish, and has nothing to do with the “Dirty Hoe.”

one last thing… (for discerning Americans, like me)
Hoegaarden is pronounced ‘whoharden’
(if you live in Brussels, like I do.)

A “Dirty Hoe” sounds good right about now (oh, that came out wrong). By the way, Hoegaarden isn’t the most wretched beer ever, Blue Moon is. Man, that stuff tastes like someone at Coors brewing drank a real wittbier, urinated, then threw coriander on it. By comparison, the Hoegaarden is fantastic.

I’m in the pub at the mo drinking a dirty hoe – had to order a half of each cause they wouldn’t pour both in a pint glass they thought I was taking the piss! It’s a very Mellow pint – a great summer alternative to guinness!

A “Dirty Hoe” is nothing compared to a “Dark side of the moon”. Tastes much better. Just drop the Hoegaarden and replace it with Blue Moon. And I’ve definitely never heard it called a Belgian Waffle before.
